POLL: Do you love Cloverfield or hate it?

I'm in the love camp (well, to clarify, I don't absolutely love it but I still really enjoy it and I've watched it a few times), but I understand why others don't like it.

Love it. Still one of the best movie-going experiences I've ever had in my life.

The friends I was with are what made the experience memorable. Considering I was in high school when the film came out and I'm a twenty-four year old man now, I'd be willing to bet that there is some nostalgia involved but it was still a great experience all around. I will always treasure it. So spare me the smart-ass comments, elephant ears.

I used to be darker, then I got lighter, then I went dark again.

I like it. It's very original. The way it's shot, it gives you a sense of reality that you can't get from a regular smooth and traditional camera work. Of course there are some goofs, but on the whole the movie is remarkable.
Of course traditionalist will hate it. And there are always those who complain about a shaky camera until they in the mouth and start convulsing :)

It was an enjoyable film. It was exciting.

It is much better than the cookie cutter Marvel superhero films and anything Transformers.

I think it's an excellent movie. I love it as a film and film experience, though I'm not sure I would call myself a fan as such, and therefore "love the film" like I would a Kurosawa classic, or even the original Star Wars movie.

I didn't think I was going to like it, but I did. I got sucked in. I watched it one day on FX when I got home from work. I have watched it a few times since then and I really like it, and until recently just saw the bit at the end where it shows something falling from the sky into the ocean.
