how would you have made this movie better?

Assuming that we still had to use the Dark Skies Script. (A script converted to Joe)

Change Duke & ripcord to new characters (introduced as movie specific charactors.) That what they would not be judged against previous incarnations, Since they really weren't the charactors they were named after.

Dump the robot suits, It doesn't make any sense that 2 new recruits would be given the suits in potential battle situation without any training (This assumes the other Joes were trained on it.)

Duke would be the Brendian Fraiser Character Role (Maybe not the actual camo) But a second in command to Hawk with a bigger role.

Ending: Spoiler

Instead of the doctor becomming the Commander, have him report to the power behind everything at the end similar to Darth Vader reporting to the Emporer in ESB. The Doctor would have been a well recieved charactor if not for the oh by the way I'm Cobra Commander, Guess I should have mentioned it earlier.

Destro: Destro's nanomite Mask seemed rushed at the end, like they didn't want to deal with it, & searved no logical purpose. I liked how McCullen sold weapons to the Joes, Have a masked Destro sell to the Cobra & reviel at the end that they are the same person, continuing to sell to both sides well into part 23.



With these simple changes you could have the production company keep the script without delaying a Joe movie for 5-10 years looking for another script.

The movie itself would have been better recieved even with elements that might be to sciFi for some tastes.

-remove the mask-making opening scene, so useless and give us nothing but false belief it will have anything to do with the plot.
-fix physics mistakes.
-real official military clothes, every soldier in the movie wore 10000 awards and most soldier has only 1(the one they get after they complete their training)
-and the thing that bothered me the most: change the president's accent!! WTF british ???
