1. DELETE DUke and Baroness history.
2. DELETE Scarlett and get me some Lady Jane
3. Replace Channing Tatum with ANYONE ELSE. (A homeless man off the street would be a better actor)

Other than those, being that this is suposed to be a prequel to GI JOE, some thing you can let slide... those are the ones that just irritated me.

Lady Jaye will be in the sequel.

The only thing I can come up with off the top of my head would be to make the story linear rather than use flashbacks, which they probably used just to get to the action as quickly as possible.

Well, i would NOT hire 2 talentless pieces of wood that is Tatum and that Waynes bloke.
Man are they so bad in this movie i cant even think of a word to describe it.

I've seen pieces of furniture with more charisma and better delivery then these 2 planks..
Its probaly the worst piece of casting i have EVER seen.. These 2 guys just aren't believable in these roles at all.

Oh, i would also hire ILM for the effects too as the sfx in this movie looked like they were from the early 90's.

A bloody terrible terrible film. I normally love my big blockbuster action films, even when the plot is bad. But i just cant stand this film. Its bad on so many levels that i would need a few hours to type out every problem i had with it.
I wish i could erase it from my brain Total Recall style.

And yes.. You are reading my signature..

I'd hire someone who graduated high school science to write the script, instead of the flunky who barely passed shop that they obviously used.

I don't mind turning off my brain for fun action. But there are limits. Unfortunately, G.I.Joe ignored the limits and broke new ground.

There are a lot of things to LIKE about the movie, but I don't really think they balance out against all the things to really despise about it.

First I'd get rid of the mouthy 'ripcord'. What an ass.

Then I'd have spent some money on the CGI, which was mostly crap.

Duke should have shot his ex in the head when she stole the warheads, either time around. That would have been a result.

I'm watching it for the first time since I saw it in 2009, 37 minutes in so far. I'm sure there will be other revelations.

Now I know this is Gi Joe but the weapons technology vechiles they could have made more advanced etc. The uniforms there uniforms should have been somewhat similar to their uniforms in the comics and cartoon. Example Duke could wear Green camflouge cargo pants with either a tan or black shirt with a tan bulletproof vest. Scarlett should wear grey camflouge pants with a grey shirt and a tan bulletproof vest. The Barnoess should have not been Duke's ex-girlfriend That was so freaking stupid. The story line should have been similar to Call of Duty or the new Battlefield 3 game.

^ This. I wanted to see some kind of agreement ala Michael Bay made with the Air Force in Transformers, the action scenes in this movie were abysmal, as I remember the original cartoon was guns ablaze and war like action, so it would have make sense to had some real looking battles with soldiers instead of people wearing some power rangers gear and jumping like frogs.

Marvel, DC or DC, Marvel, choose whatever you like. I'm outta here.

As much fun as I find this big toybox of a movie to be, the underwater battle scenes in "Thunderball" (1965) were more effective because they were actually done under water. At no time in "GI Joe" did it ever look like they were actually in H20. Just cartoony-looking crafts moving through CG ocean terrains. For such a lengthy big scale climactic sequence, they should've built atleast a few miniatures and put them in an old fashioned tank.

When I watched this film, I kept thinking "Less is more". Seriously, it was way too over the top. They should have scaled it down a little bit, made it a little slower. Quality over quantity. The physics went out of the window big time, too, which made the action scenes silly. I never felt excited, it just got boring.

Everyone else already said what I would have said. So I'll just say this. I wouldn't have put lips on Snake Eyes. That was stupid looking. :)

Takin' out the trash, trailer park style!!
