Tangled vs Megamind

I like both, but I prefer Megamind. I find the film hilarious, love all the characters (and the voice actors are perfect), think it's one of the best animated romantic pairings in a long time, love the music and the pacing. The whole movie just works for me. I enjoy Tangled, but I would more often than not choose to watch Megamind over it.

I think Tangled is a better movie. It is more consistent and I feel like it was more certain of what it wanted to be.

As far as personal enjoyment goes, however, I really really like Megamind. I think it just appeals more to my tastes as I'm very into superhero stuff and off-beat animation that can be a little odd at times, but still heartwarming. I'm also fascinated with the movie's imperfections. It gives me more to think about.
