sharethat was nick wasnt it?
shareI didn't think it was disgusting at all. While it was shocking as you think Gus would die immediately from the type of blast that took out the door and produced debris out into the hallway, but he came out. It was shocking as those workers and people in the hallway stopped to stare. I've seen an explosion like that during a severe earthquake and thought people died as much debris and thick display window glass broke at a major department store downtown. All we could do was look and see what happened to people. Fortunately, no one was walking in the walkway as we did not see anyone come out nor buried in the debris.
shareBecause Gus was still walking, and it was the last episode of the season, I really didn't know for sure until a ways into the next season premiere, that he was really dead!
shareIf we're talking physically disgusting rather than just the mental horror of various situations (which is what I'd categorise things like Jane/Andrea's deaths), then it's the bathtub, for sure. Combined with them cleaning it up at the start of the next episode. The first time I saw that, I felt physically ill.
My top 5 would probably be:
- Bathtub
- Prison killings (especially the guy getting set on fire at the end of the montage; I hate anything to do with people being burned alive)
- Gus' head after the explosion
- The box cutter
- ATM
Not disgusting -- but the scene where Hank and Gomez die was disturbing.
You're talking two good, honest police officers (one of whom was a minor protagonist for 5 seasons) getting killed by some sleazeballs. And then Hank and Gomez both get buried namelessly in the middle of the desert. No funeral rites from their family, no marked graves. Nothing. The burial was was further insult
You should watch Cannibal Holocaust

shareSkyler doing Ted. Yikes!
