I thought she was too over the top. The scene with her yelling at Strathairn in the bar was too overly dramatic, like a high school play.

She was great, especially considering she's English, so she had the accent to contend with as well.

She played a lush with a southern accent and then she went from rage to subtle sadness without losing any of her character's qualities.
She is heads and shoulders above Natalie Portman as an actress and well Snora Jones is snora.
