Rachael Weisz is amazing in this film.
She steals the movie.

I agree.
shareBoth Rachel and David are brilliant in this film, they make this film worth watching. Such a great performance.
Paris est tout petit pour ce qui s'aiment d'un aussi grand amour.

I loved her performance, my favorite thing in this great film.
shareIn quite a bit of the movie she is just there, didn't say much or contribute much at all, It was like they said we need you to just stand hear. I'm not blaming the actress, but her part was almost a minor role to get the audience to the next scene. I'm glad you like her, I simply didn't think much of her roll simply because her story to be honest was just not interesting. But maybe I missed something so would you or anyone else elaborate for me why you thought she was brilliant, i would like to hear your version. OOPS I was talking about the lead actress not rachel

I have a different view, I thought her acting was rather unnatural and overdone.
Please note I'm a fan of Rachael.

I think she had one of the best lines when she said all she wanted was for him "to let go of her and now that he had, it hurts her more than anything." Its simple but true in so many ways how cruel ironies can be.

"Rachel Weisz is amazing in this film"... in every possible way! Spectacular beauty and very fine actress.
Natalie Portman does very well too, she gives one of her best performances IMO.
Norah Jones didn't seem that convincing to me, though...
For me, it's like what happens with "Lucía y el sexo": Paz Vega is the leading but the movie belongs to the female supporters: Elena Anaya and Najwa Nimri.
For me this isn't the best performance of Rachael, and her performance isn't the best the film, but never Rachael is more beautiful that this film.
shareI personally enjoy she's a bit over the top in the role. With such a low key performance its great to see Weisz reveal in the melodrama of the charactor. The film itself was okay, a bit dull, but both Weisz and Portman are excellent though.
shareexactly my feelings. Rachel and Natalie were brilliant, Jude was okay, the rest was...mehh.
