This movie was good but...

.. I don't think it was really worth a 7.7 rating... It was a great feel-good movie, but I think it was worth more of a 7.1 or 7.2.. Was the high score due to the fans of the book, or do people really think this was a very well made film?
Let me know what you think! :)

I thought it was pretty good. I wouldn't mind if it had a 7.1 rating, but a few years back this had an 8.0 rating. It was loved primarily because the story was very well-written.

As far as the book goes, the movie changed quite a few pivotal aspects, especially the end, but author Neil Gaiman oversaw the production and actually enjoyed the changes so much, he was reported to have said he liked the changes better than what he had written, and that he apparently wished he'd written the ending the way it was in the film.
