Rebecca vs. Alice

Am I the only one who thinks that Rebecca is far prettier than Alice? Yes, Alice is the blonde bombshell...I get it. But there's absolutely no mystery to her. I prefer unconventional beauty any day. What do you think?

reply

I don't think it's a case of "unconventional" - Rebecca is gorgeous, full stop, but her character also has more depth to her personality and more poise about her. Sexiness isn't just about looks, it's about meeting someone who challenges you, and an intelligent person would get more stimulation by being around someone like Rebecca!

Rebecca, I love her personality and wit.

Rebecca.

Alice has a giant head. And I'm not a fan of blondes to be honest. I like tall slender brunettes, so Rebecca wins hands down for me. She's prettier anyway.

This calls for a very special blend of psychology and extreme violence

I think Rebecca was more attractive to me.

I think Alice is very attractive as well. I also think the character is under rated as to her shallowness. I think she too can be a complex character much more than a bimbo per se. I mean hell, she got on this nerdy quiz show for god;s sake. Anyway, I don't think Alice is one dimensional at all.

Rebecca for sure , there's something about her thats just so attractive, someone you would want to be with forever

I missed this when it first came out, but it was on the B.B.C. last night and I caught up with it then.

Like most people here, I considered that Alice wasn't bad at all, but that Rebecca was even better. It is strange that an earlier post mentioned The Camomile Lawn, as that, too, featured an attractive blonde who was put into the shade by an absolutely sensational brunette.

And, yes, as soon as Alice made her first appearance, I was reminded of Joanna Lumley!

reply

Both gorgeous looking.

I prefer darker hair to blond.

Rebecca is by far the nicer character.
