Musical Episodes in Sitcoms
Why do they do it? Is there a target audience that actually likes musical episodes? Reminds me of when Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother tried the same thing and failed.

I can't watch musical episodes, it doesn't matter the series, I turn it off in the first second. Since theres a lot of those musicals out there, maybe theres some niche of the market that appreciate if enough to make it profitable.
shareThat was probably their worst episode ever.
shareAbsolutely hate musical episodes. But if they were going to do one, they might as well do it when the writing on this episode stunk anyway.
shareThere seems to be a lot of crossover between the people writing these shows and people who are big fans of musicals so it's logical that they'd want to make their own.
And yes, lots of people do enjoy them, though those who don't tend to be a lot more vocal about it.

I don't know why other shows do it and I am having a harder time figuring out why Sunny decided to do one. It doesn't fit the tone of the show at all and it was not funny.
Victims, aren't we all?
Seems like they all just really like performing. They work a singing and/or dance type number into every season
shareI hate hate hate sitcom musical episodes, I usually turn them off right away. I stuck through the episode, laughed a few times but it made my skin crawl.
