It seems I'm the only fanboy of this great movie...
...which is too bad. It's lonely being in a cult of one. But I'll take it. Shoot 'Em Up rocks.

shareI love this movie. It's definitely the only mindless action movie I've thoroughly enjoyed since probably The Rock or something like that. I can't see how anyone that likes action or comedies can't like this movie. Everything is so over the top and tongue in cheek that you can't possibly take it seriously.

Man! Sign me up! The first time I saw this movie, I didn't believe that it really happened. So, I watched it again. It did all happen! This is by far my favourite action movie so far. It is ludicrous and it knows it is.
From the moment new line cinema gets shot up until the cast starts rolling the bullets will fly. I have watched it with few different people so far (I watched it many times) and every so often you get the comments or sounds that you really don't want to hear. Tss, cmon, this is too much. If you did that while watching it you don't get the point of the movie.
Point? I believe there is none. The team who created this movie had fun making it and wanted to share the experience with us. If any of you read this, THANK YOu!
I loved it too. It was fun, full of cool R-rated (for once...) gun action, it delivered great one-liners from Smith and Hertz, it had a tight plost which, why not overly original, still kept you guessing and excited ; I even liked that underlining message about gun control in America, and the way it was handled.
"I don't care what you believe in, just believe in something ! No matter what..."
It's definitely one of my favourites. The first time I saw it, I had a smile on my face throughout the whole run. Hadn't had that much fun with an action movie in months.
