Similar storylines and very scary without needing gore or blood or cutlery.

I think anyone who likes this film should see "The Baby's Room". It's on Netflix (at least it was a few months ago when I watched it). It's part of a compilation called "Films to Keep You Awake". Like this one, it was made in Spain, with English subtitles. Very creepy, only about an hour and 15 minutes or so. The lead actress, Leonor Watling, is gorgeous. I totally fell for her in this movie.

Eh, I only really liked The Changeling up until the denouement. It was good, and then it derailed into ridiculousness.
