Age and morality: What would you have done? (NOT a discussion topic)

As Morgan Freeman says to Casey in the movie:

"You walk away from it, you may not regret it when you get home. You may not regret it for a year, but when you get to where I am, I promise you, you will."

I'm curious to see if there IS, in fact, a correlation between age and agreeing/disagreeing with Casey.

So, the point of this topic is simply to state your age and to state whether you agree or disagree with the following statement (again, this is NOT a discussion topic):

"Casey Affleck was right in returning the child to her biological mother."

(Disagreeing means you think he should have left the child with Morgan Freeman; no other options are considered).

I think that last few scenes of the movie clearly show that he was wrong and already had enough reasons to feel regret - girl's mother was, even before the kidnapping, the kind of person whose child should be taken away because she was negligent to say the least.

Whilst I believe that the child was better off with Morgan Freeman, I believe it is entirely wrong to take a child from their parent like this.

Yes, she is worse off, but I AGREE with Casey's decision.

(Whatever the situation is, it wouldn't sit well with me if someone had the chance to bring me back to my mother and didn't take it. I don't care if they think I'd be better off away from her, but that's not really up to them to decide.. 'nuff said.)

Few kind words is not enough to hide a crime from the police.
The story shows that Morgan Freeman's character was corrupt. I would not easily trust him, and definitely not leave a kidnapped child in his hands.
