The cat killing on Jenifer

I've had cats all my life so you could say that I have affection for cats, and that part on Jenifer really bothered me. Why couldn't she just mutilate a dog?

While I also care deeply about cats, you just made yourself look like a right ass suggesting a dog would have been better. Animal harm should not be depicited in horror films, the only excuse I can think of is Dario Argento is from Italy, and perhaps because of cultural differences harm to animals isn't seen as shocking as it is in the US.

reply

Seriously?!?!? Your getting bent outta shape because she ate a cat, I own 4 cats and it didn't bother me or my partner; besides cats can sense evil more than dogs

reply

cats & dogs are members of the family, never mind animal cruelty its a criminal act to harm or kill anothers pets whatever the opinion of it so i cannot get why the other family members just drove off without calling the authorities but then plot wasn't this episodes strong point it was just an hour of him getting humped by her with some outrageous gory scenes, shallow and boring next to say Cigarette Burns.

I think killing and eating the cat is to show that Jenifer is really more animal than human.

The wild, cruel animal is not behind the bars of a cage. He is in front of it.

I know this post is quite late, but I've just recently gotten into MOH. I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned this, but I honestly think it shows lack of taste when a show or movie has to kill a cat or dog. It makes me think that they couldn't find any texture in their movie otherwise, so they jumped the shark. I've stopped watching many films when this happens solely off of that.
