Funniest moment ever?

When Gervais is shirking from the actor during the play as he tries to kiss him and Ian Mkellan is pushing his head back. Does anyone else think that this is the funniest comedy moment ever? Its like Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and Benny Hill all rolled into one with an extra helping of Wacky Races and a bit of Wallace and Grommit mixed in to boot. Its just brilliant visual humour.

Although, it only just beats the moment when Darren is trying to flush to no avail and then he resorts to using a kitchen utensil to mash it. Amazing.

Idea.

Imagine a sitcom centred around the exploits of Darren Lamb dating. Wouldn't that also be hilarious.

The entire George Michael scene, especially the bit about Sting being a do-gooder.

Kate Winslet, dressed as a nun, giving Maggie advice about how to respond to her boyfriend's obscene phone calls.

The part where Darren was knocking out out over the pen and Andy walks in was class!! It was even funnier when Andy went to leave the office and Barry was doing the same thing outside!! HA HA!!

Pretty much any scene involving Andy and Greg, my favourite is the one in the Ross Kemp episode

Greg: You got a speaking part or..?
Andy: No, not in this one
Greg: Seriously, how do you survive?
Andy: Don't worry about it
Greg: Digging into the savings...
Andy: Not really, working all the time mate...
Greg: ...The pile diminishes...(pretends to bite nails) gotta get some work soon, gotta get some work soon.
Andy: Are your parents still sending you money?
Greg: Well, yeah, either that or I threaten to sign on, and lo the cheque doth cometh in the post....keeps the wolf from the door (nudges Andy)
Andy: And how is the door of the house your parents bought ya?
Greg: it's fine...Seriously mate, something'll come along...
Andy: Dont worry bout it mate, don't worry bout it, worry bout yourself.
Greg: stiff upper lip, and other cliches too NUMEROUS to mention.

Also loved the line from Andy when describing his agent in the Kate winslet episode:

'I went in the other day and he told me "Andy, unless I get a decent client soon I'll have to go full time at the Carphone Warehouse."

For Me it has to be the awards ceremony, the BAFTA's. Just when Stephen Merchant starts that Tacky doll talking during the "In Memoriam" speech by Richard Briers. You want to strangle him on behalf of Andy, but it is so hilarious. Especially when Darren says "Do you have one of those tiny screwdrivers?" whilst trying to shut it up.

Then when everyone starts applauding Briers for smashing it (which is a nice little dig at Luvvie-ness), Andy asks Darren to pull the dolls trousers up. That made me cry with laughter.

For me one of the funniest is the one with that little pervert Danny Radcliffe, which results in Dianna Rig getting a condom on her head. And the firm, but polite way that she demands he uses proper etiquette and grammar when asking for it back.

But the absolute funniest for me is the one with David Bowie. I just love the subtle looks on his face as it slowly dawns on him the enormity of what's being done. I can see him thinking:

"Wow! David Bowie has just spontaneously created a brand new hit song that might become rock'n'roll history, along with Ziggy Stardust and Major Tom. It's about a pathetic, fat, self pitying loser, and it's based on a short conversation he just had with me!"

I can watch this scene again and again. It cracks me up every time.

1. Andy giving the Eastern European man a 15 pound voucher for getting him a line. the funniest part about this moment is when Andy keeps the voucher out of his reach until he agrees to ask Ben Stiller for the line.

4. Andy wearing a fancy suit to a prayer session

- Finally Kate Winslet was mentioned!!! Her face after being busted doing the dirty talk and rubbing herself is priceless. Also her talking about roles and oscars, 'I mean how many movies are there about the Holocaust?' "When's Winslet gonna win one?"
- Darren crying at the spontaneous performance of Barry/Shaun's one man Romeo and Juliet, which was perfromed hilariously at great volume and with gusto.
- Barry/Shaun dressed as Ray with the wig and the glasses.
- The Saturday Night Fever suit at the church meeting and Andy committing to his lie about Father Flattley (It's O'Flattley).
- Maggie's confusion over who Ross Kemp is and her line "I like smells".
- Daniel Radcliffe's condom...Lucky girl.
- Bunny kicking Maggie out of Lizzie's birthday party and being refused any sandwiches for the road.
- Ben Stiller showing the actors how to smash the old lady.
- Darren flushing
- Greg's line 'Gotta get some work, gotta get some work!'
- Darren putting his bluetooth head phone on and missing the call.
- Darren constantly getting the name of the sitcom wrong including the review of Wind of the Willows (a lovely woodland romp) and mistaking the toad for Andy.

- When Andy takes the piss out of his prospective girlfriends mentally ill sister... "This'll make you laugh look... pissed up nutter over there.. she's had a few!"

"That's my sister."

"Mah?"

The way he tries to squirm out of it is so soo funny, and ofcourse when she says "What do you do in this then".... "What Judith?" hahaha.

- the scene where the hairdresser in the studio is angry about someone forgetting her name, and then she asks andy to sign a photo and he cant remember her name either... especially when he makes the pen excuse and maggie gives him one. haha.

Sorry Greg, the card only comes in one gender.

1. the watter bottle exploding in his mouth
2. chinese, japanese, dirty knees, what are these?
3. the bit where the interview lady is interviewing maggie about how long she`s been andys assistant and he`s trying to mime things behind her back

My first encounter with extras was the David Bowie scene... so it has a special place in my heart :)

But the next moment that made me absolutely lose it was

"Oh, *uck off. I'm Clive Owen, that's mental."

Kate Winslet prays in a chapel for a miracle, and after "Cut!", goes into an angry, obscenity-filled tirade about how uncomfortable the nun costume is. Also how she explains her reason for doing a Holocaust film. I think hers is my favorite episode.

Diana Rigg insists that Daniel Radciff use proper etiquette in asking for his condom back.

Orlando Bloom begs Maggie to kiss him. She does so just to get him off her back, and says, "Really not my cup of tea." The funniest part to me was the reaction of the woman who had been putting down Maggie's looks.

Sir Ian's acting advise.

I have a lot of favorite moments but I always laugh the hardest when they're at the BAFTAs and Darren comes over with that Mr.Stokes doll and it won't turn off and the guy comes down from the stage smashes it with his foot and screams, "Tacky s*it!"

And when Darren goes on that morning talk show to do damage control after Andy tells the mother of the kid with down syndrome off and Darren challenges that the host wouldn't be able to tell if someone was retarded from behind - then after the credits you see the same talk show host with 4 backs to him and he's trying to decide who has down syndrome. So ridiculously funny.
