Will Craig regret leaving?

I know he's tired of doing the show and he's already made a lot of money to live off of for a while, but I'm worried that Craig's career will die after he leaves the show. He'll still have his stand-up career and he might do some other projects, but his popularity will fade after a couple years and will never be the same. Imagine what would've happened to Letterman if he decided to stop doing his Late Night show after 10 years. He would've just been remembered now as a guy who had a funny show in the 80s and would not be thought of as a TV legend.

Nah, I think Craig was pretty genuine the 500 times he said he's kind of tired and worn out from the grind. If I had to place a bet, i'd wager he's gonna end up on a sitcom again.

I think Craig will be fine doing whatever in the coming years. But at the end of the day when he looks back, I think he will regret quiting when he did.

I heard he has syndicated talk show lined up to begin September 2015. It will be around 6 or 7pm, with Geoff and the horse. He even was hinting at it pretty strongly in the monologue of the final show

I dont think Craig ever intended to go even a fraction as long as say David Lettermen who has been on air for over 30 years. Hell Craig has admitted many times that he never thought he'd be on as long as he has, and by the time of the last contract signing 2 years ago, he was already over it.
