Jenna Coleman ENDORSES Doctor Who BOYCOTT!
Great news, fellow Whovians!
Are you sick and tired of what Moffat has done to Doctor Who after Clara exited the show? You're not alone. You have a friend and ally in Jenna Coleman herself.
I can confirm this because I attended Wizard World's Chicago Comic Con over the weekend, and one of the guests there was Jenna Coleman IN PERSON. (You can confirm this on their events page). Other Doctor Who alumni scheduled to appear included David Tennant, John Barrowman, Alex Kingston, and Catherine Tate. Tennant had to cancel at the last second, but all the other former companions attended.
I did not meet the others in person, but I had the opportunity to get Jenna Coleman's autograph. I stood in line an hour to meet her, and told her how much I enjoyed her role as "the Impossible Girl" on the show, and how I have NOT watched a single episode of Doctor Who since they replaced her with the horrible character "Bill".
She smiled and told me that she too, "hasn't seen any of it" since they replaced her with "Bill".
This is fantastic news! Jenna Coleman, just like her loyal fans, is skipping the program since Moffat decided to replace her with the WORST companion in nuWho history (and possibly the worst companion of all time).
And please, if you're a Moffat shill/BBC apologist, don't try to spin this excellent news with some kind of "maybe she hasn't had time to watch it" propaganda. You know that she would find the time to watch at least ONE episode with "Bill" if she was in ANY way interested in seeing what direction the show went after she left. Coleman, just like the fanbase, hasn't tuned into ANY episode of the "series 10" abomination.
Also, don't even try to lie and distort my post by saying "Reel claimed Coleman is boycotting Doctor Who next year because the Doctor will be played by a woman". You know for a fact that my post only pertains to the fact that Coleman isn't watching any of the "Bill" era garbage being made by Moffat. What happens NEXT YEAR remains to be seen.
Now, to be fair, I did not speak with Tennant, Tate, Kingston, or Barrowman, so I do not know if they likewise support the boycott. But given the ratings, I'd say its highly likely they haven't watched any of that garbage, either.
Yep, something for Moffat to chew on: Doctor Who sucks so much now that even former cast members won't watch the show.
