According to the votes of each episode for each season, season 4 is still the highest rated season... I don't think that'll change unless we get a better showrunner.

And besides, IMDb ratings aren't exactly reliable.

My vote for best series would be the third.

It isn't 'season', it's not an American show.

It's pretty much the worst - a bloated mess where the freshness of the approach of series 1-3 has gone stale and we have to suffer from constant emoting and RTDs self-love with only a couple of highlights.
1 mark deducted for not being Curse of Fenric. Insert 'The' into previous if you are Ant-Mac

I'd agree as far as modern Who goes

Series 4 was consistently good to excellent apart from The Doctor's Daughter (shudder). And it has the best companion (Donna), and the best Documentary/Companion dynamic.

Dear Lord, this entire board seems to read as 1995 era Nokia flip-phone users half-in-the-bag.

'Cept for BeardlessGit, who just represents yer average Classic-Hu-Hipster trash, who at least is useful in (reversing any of her posts) demonstrates the majority opinion. At least her diarrhetic ramblings are in English. Would she had bothered to pass on such knowledge to current generations.
