Does Toy Story need 4
i'm reading on this board rumours that #4 might happen, but does it really need to? i thought it finished on a such a perfect high.

shareI'll lose respect for Pixar if a 4th comes out. It ended so well.
Look what happened with Cars 2; negative to mixed reviews.
Shrek only needed one movie.
And I agree to the fact that kids these days should have their own "Toy Stories". It'd be more meaningful to them in 10 years than a trilogy that belongs to another generation. A whole new story line would be great for them.
yes it should be, the new andy is the little girl(dont know the name) and its for the next generation of kids
shareI agree that a part 4 isn't needed.

Jim Hutton: talented gorgeous hot hunk; adorable as ElleryQueen; SEXIEST ACTOR EVER
Definitely NO!
shareI'm actually considering a blog post of 'why the world doeesn't need a Toy Story 4.'
I will admit that PIXAR has found a solution that I can get behind:
"Toy Story Toons."
Ever since the end of TS3, we've had 3: Hawaiian Vacation, Small Fry, and Partysaurus Rex.
While the first wasn't so great, the last couple have been entertaining, and word is, there's a Halloween Special coming this Fall with the gang.
To me, these seem a proper way to continue to stories, without ruining the wonderful feel of the Trilogy (well, except for those with abandonment issues...you know who you are).
"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."

you know what...
Recently I found myself asking myself this question many times...
On the one hand I think that Toy Story could not ended in a better way then it already is.
on the other hand, I can not imagine the idea of Pixar will not present ever again another Masterpiece of Toy Story series...
I trust Pixar that they will not disappoint me and all others Toy Story's fans...
Just been announced. Personally I thought 3 ended on a perfect note and I'm not sure how they can top it as I felt the series had come to an emotionally satisfying conclusion.
I say no, I don't know about the rest of you but I thought they wrapped it up quite nicely in Toy Story 3. And next of all it took them too long to do a third movie, the first Toy Story movie came out in 1995, the second movie came out in 1999, and the third movie came out in 2010. That is 11 years after the second movie came out, and 15 years after the first one came out. And now Disney has annouced a fourth Toy Story movie to come out in 2017, which will be 7 years after this movie? And Dreamworks in a 3 year period released 4 Shrek movies between 2001 and 2010. And even still I doubt we will see much if at all of Andy in Toy Story 4. And didn't seem like his character was a main character in all of the first 3 anyways.
