shareFor being quite creepy and disturbing: Mirrors (1978). So creepy the main actress never played after that.

30 Days of Night scares me every time I watch it .. It should be outlawed .. lol ... Comes on tomorrow night .. but have to watch TWD first .. See ya .
......
I'd like a chance t' shoot at an educated man once in my life .
I think as I first started watching Horrors at a very young age? (Think 13yrs old and with her mothers permission and Blockbuster card :D ) Im probably more inured to them!!
Still, one film that I classify as a 'horror' is Right At Your Door. That scares the proverbial outta me!! Mainly as it could happen!!
As Ive gotten older...lived through some things? Had more experience? What scares me more isn't whats under my bed. Its now an unexplained attack on the city/place I live in of some sort.
Monsters/Zombies/Vampires I can deal with, the nutty terrorist of whatever country, whatever religion or whatever descent? They are harder to fight...and sometimes to actually spot.
I experienced the Manchester 1996 IRA bomb and that was more scary than any film I had ever watched. Same as when I saw the whole 9/11 thing unfold on live on air. To me? Real life people can be more scary than any film monster.
...or listening to my answerphone tape asking me where I was? What happened? What THE HELL? PLEASE ANSWER!!!
Ive a full tape of those messages. I could only listen to them once after, even tho everyone lived? Its the scared-ness and horrible pain in their voices, esp as was selfish and couldn't phone people straight after.
...Hence - Right At Your Door.

Can only imagine what you went through and the worry that people who cared for you went through ... thank goodness you are still on this good earth .. and you are so right ... real people are more scary .. if only we could turn them off or pause them .. life would be better indeed ... I have never watched " Right At Your Door " .. but I intend to now .. thank you my friend .. and peace to you and your loved ones .

Thank you Milo :) Loads!! :)
Ive a slim 1" scar on my forehead that's not noticeable now unless I point it out but for a long time after? Until it healed fully? I told people it was something else, like I had accidentally fallen off my bike. Ive not actually talked about this before until last year and the Boston Marathon bomb, but told people on another site.
I actually don't hate anyone tho. Its not up to me or us to judge them as they will get theirs eventually...in a way I guess...
Live a bad life? You will get what you send out back in spades. Karma...Look for the positivity ;)
I love hugs and am always about the smiles I could make for people ;)
Yes, something bad happened but am still here and alive ;)

Ok remind me to NOT watch horror films late at night while am laid out on my sofa!!
My comfy sofa has cushions as the back part and was getting to the really scary part of Ju'On The Grudge when ***floomph*** one of them fell over on my head and scared the bejeezus outta me!!
Its bad enough watching scary films late at night without my sofa attacking me!! lols!!

"Bedtime for Bonzo".............my terror then increased when a member of the cast began to appear regularly on TV....giving me further nightmares. Don't think I have ever truly recovered

DRAG ME TO HELL
THE STRANGERS
vampire movies and slasher movies never scared me.
"Self-reflection is the hardest thing for SOME people to do!"
No film has scared me enough to stop watching it or hide behind the sofa but I've seen them all and the most scary ones were;
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Alien (1979)
Ring (2001 Jap)
Sounds nuts, but Scream 2 gave me nightmares!
My friend's review of Mothman gave me the creeps...more so than the film.
Poltergeist (as a kid).
By the way; A Tale of Two Sisters is a great psychological excursion.
Suspiria
The Conjuring
Salem's Lot
