Better than Shaun of the Dead

I couldn't agree more. Shaun was brilliant, but Hot Fuzz is sheer genius. Fun, exciting, and the use of repetition is the best I've seen. You can watch it a dozen times and notice something new each time.

I agree. It's my personal favourite of the trilogy, mostly because the rewatch value is so high — probably the highest of any movie I've ever seen. I could probably watch it twice in a row, which I don't think is true of any other movie.

One thing I have to say though, is that the movies got a lot better in terms of acting and production values with each new instalment. It's can be somewhat jarring if you watch all three back-to-back. Still, the main appeal is the humor, and there it's simply a matter of personal preference.

I disagree. I watched Hot Fuzz twice (yes, only twice) and I kinda not interested in watching it again. On the other hand, I never get tired of watching Shaun...

I completely agree. Shaun is fantastic, but Hot Fuzz is the greatest and most underrated movie of all time in my opinion. It's so brilliant.

Shaun of the Dead was an absolute triumph for the team after spaced, and really set the bar high, however Hot Fuzz is the best comedy to come out of Britain in ten years.

i do prefer Hot Fuzz, though I think Shaun of the Dead is funny too.
