Making fun of a superior director won't make "Hard Candy" a decent film.
Polanski's directing prowess somehow exempts him from being included in social commentary? Its embarrassing to reference a true event that parallels the theme of this movie?

So what if he's a superior director he's a paedophile and frankly deserves all the jabs he gets, he deserves a lot more punishment than that.

Just because he is gifted and rich doesn't mean he isn't a monster. If you want to let him babysit your child go ahead just be prepared for the consequence.

No one insulted, they said the truth in that film, on that director on the similar "Death of a Maiden"(1994)(and, before that, "Rosemary's Baby",1968).
