Six point Five??

Are you kidding me??

This movie had great characters who were played by amazing actors, a fantastic script, a great and very gripping storyline, incredible psychological depth, and a very thrilling, edge-of-your-seat ending in the house.

Seriously, the whole house chase was fantastic. Everything leading up to that was brilliant and it felt like all the pent up emotions and whatnot finally got released.

The whole movie was fantastic, I'm really surprised I'd never seen it before just now.
I heard it was good but like so many other movies I just never got around to watching it until now.

Seriously though, what about this movie makes people think its only 6.5? Different people have different tastes of course, but I would think this would appeal to a lot of people. People who just want intensity and action? It's got plenty so you're good. People who want deep characters and great psychology? It's got plenty of that as well, so you're good.

I feel like I'm rambling now, so yeah. Why such a low rating?

the replies range from 2 - 9, proving that it depends on the viewer's taste. to me, if you want 90 minutes of entertainment, this is a good movie to watch. if you want an academy award winner, look elsewhere.
for me, any movie with Rachel mcadams is worth watching. she is a doll.

Are you kidding me?? This was a travesty, almost from the off. SO bad in almost every way possible.

The low rating you don't understand should be FAR lower. Like, under 5, easy, and I LOVE a crappy movie

The first 2/3 of the film gave me what I wanted. It was engaging, suspenseful, intriguing and a lot of the script writing had an organic feel.

The last third was so out of place and put there as part of a generic hollywood formula.

Based on the first 2/3 I could've rated it 8 or 9.

The silly ending made me drop it to a 5 or 6. 6 is me being generous since I liked a lot of the cast.
