Any non-Asians who like this film?

I'm just wondering if this Korean War movie is appealing to non-Asians in the U.S. I liked it, but the dialogue could get cheesy sometimes. From watching Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, the two best war movies I think, I wasn't much shocked or inspired by the movie. It was decently made though.

Yes I think it is everybit as good as hollywood produced war movie the battle scenes if anything were my gory and more intense there was good attension to military detail [none of the crap of american tanks & vehicles painted with nazi markings because they could not find enough real germain halftracks that you get in movies like torbruk, battle of the bulge ]all in all a damn good effort from such a small country.

I'm in america but I'm filipino, this movie blew my mind. Watched it at least 5 times and cried at least 5 times. It's one badass movie. It's truly touching and totally worth the longass time this movie is.

Compared to SPR and BHD, BHD is nothing compared to this but SPR is side by side.

Remember people, the rules for filming in international countries is that they allow different things. I'd assume if a movie in hollywood was made like this it'd be more watered down and less violent due to filming rules in the US. Part of this movie would end up censored. Notice the amount of people exploding and dying in gruesome manners constantly in Brotherhood, but in SPR its pretty gruesome but wasn't as constant.

Well I loved the movie. I tought it was something different. With great acting, great filming and a lovely moving story. I don't think Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down are bad, their great. But you can't compear "Brotherhood of war woth them. It's three very different story in three very different settings. I'm 1.80cm in hight, blond and blue eyes and I loved the movie...

I'm a white male American and I thought it was excellent. It was a bit cheesy, but it is easily a classic.

"Did he say 'Making f-ck'?"

No-one mentions 'Flag of our Fathers' or Letters from Iwo Jima'. They were good and less pretentious than Saving Private Ryan.

Great movie, sadly it did get cheesy in some places.

You should really watch "Stalingrad" and "Das boot".
