Ill begin.
Yes
I liked it.
There were some moments that made me cringe but if you go back to the orginal PP you will find some there as well.
Better than I expected, but not like the originals. Much better than the Son of the Pink Panther lol

Yes,I likes this movie very much!
I don't understand why this movie is rated 4.6???It deserves much higher vote, for example,8 or 9.I gave this movie 9/10 and it was very funny!Steve Martin is great actor, and I respect him so much...And,please,stop telling us that Beyonce is awful actress etc. because she is wonderful! She is not the best actress in the world, but she is very good.Respect!
The average rating is actually 4.9. Many people have been negative about this film for several reasons:
1. They think it's a remake when it's not; it's actually a reboot of the franchise (like Batman Begins).
2. They spend too much time comparing the Sellers Pink Panther films to this.
3. They're stuck with the thought that Steve Martin is copying Peter Sellers when he isn't.
4. They need to get with the times. They're stuck in the past.
I'm one of those people who have the ability to enjoy both Sellers and Martin as Clouseau. In fact, I think that this is better than some of Sellers' later Panther films, The Pink Panther Strikes Again and Revenge of the Pink Panther.

Agreed. I forced myself to watch it all the way through but it was terrible. The "funny" parts were so predictable that they could only be funny to someone under the age of 10. There was so little chemistry between Martin and Reno or Martin and Kline that most of the scenes seemed forced. I love all 3 actors but their talents were totally wasted on this piece of crap. It's not the worst comedy to come out in the last couple of years (*cough*, "Date Movie",*cough*) but it's up there.
shareYup. Light and at times funny!!
shareNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - the rating says it all ... Steve Martin was pathetic in this role.

I saw this movie at 30000 feet with three beers in me, and at the time it was the most hilarious thing I'd ever seen. I saw it again sober, and it wasn't quite as good, but it was still okay. Don't go in with high expectations and you'll get a lot out of it.
