by my count:

as many negative threads as there seem to be around here for this film, and as much bad press as the film got from reviewers and such, i'm surprised and relieved to see that i'm still in the majority around here with my love for this movie... apparently, the problem is just that the critics are very vocal...

ah it was a funny movie, i WAS laughing out loud. i don't care what anyone says, im always in the minority of people that like any given movie, and i dont even like being different ;) its just if something's funny, im gonna laugh at it lol

As I mentioned before, no comparison with Peter Sellers movies, but it still was a good try.

Unlike most teenagers who will watch this film, and either like it or hate it, i have watched countless times and totally adored the directing of Blake Edwards and the timeless acting of Peter Sellers. I feel that even if this film is good (im still trying to avoid watching it) it cannot compare to the originals.. and it upsets me deeply that people feel the need to remake the amazing Pink Panther film, when it should just be left as it is.
I'm not particularly fond of Steve Martin either but I might watch it and see how it is.

My little cousin wanted me to watch it. I wasn't too thrilled because I watch Kurosawa, Herzog, the Coen brothers and Gilliam ect., (you know good movies by good directors.) I couldn't stand more than ten minutes and left; but was then dragged back to watch it because I was babysitting the kid. After I finished the movie, thoughts of suicide ran through my head, lol. Worst piece of *beep* I've ever seen. Worse than the last Star Wars if you can believe it.

I agree with the other guy, we need to stop with the *beep* remakes.

You want a good movie? Get Fitzcarraldo or The Big Lebowski.
