favourite segment?

i found the steve coogan/alfred molina segment absolutely hilarious!

classic coogan, on his best form as usual, and nice to see molina doing naturalistic comedy. he holds his own against coogan in every frame, shifting the balance perfectly with each twist.

i also enjoyed meg and jack white's section. although it was much more subtle than the coogan/molina piece, for a couple of untrained actors they conveyed a real sweetness and sensitivity.

not all of the film was to my taste but i'm not sure the ripping it got was completely deserved. i still enjoyed it and was not left disappointed.

I just saw it this afternoon and loved the movie. Favorite segment: the one with Iggy Pop and Tom Waits. Just thought it was so real! In fact, one friend and I have been trying to quit smoking for a long time, and though we did not smoke for, perhaps 2 years, there happened exactly this conversation between us: the both of us were smokers again but were so embarrased to say it!

I loved this movie... the more I think of it, the more I like it.

I think Strange to Meet You is the greates segment. Robert Benigni is so funny, confusing and talks so fast you would think he's on coke... also his language and accent is funny. Actually he's just overall funny :D

i go with alfred molina/steve coogan - not so much for the humour as their performances! all the body language, all the speech, all (coogans) expressions - then turned on it's head completely with that one phone call. i'm amazed how well they played their inital roles knowing what was then to come - seriously: to go from needy/hounded to nonchalant/needy like that - brilliant!
(as for the film as a whole: not bad. not genius, nor sucked, just pretty good. refreshing if nothing else)

Cousins was definitely my favorite. I realize it was probably just scripted that way, but it isn't hard to imagine that 'Shelly' is just another extension of Cate Blanchett's personality, and the 'movie star' Cate was being nagged by her 'former self'; that sort of thing. I thought it was brilliantly executed.
