I just watched "Mysterious Skin," so I can't say, but I have a feeling that it's going to be one of those films for me, too.

Other films I watched that I just couldn't get out of my mind (in no particular order):
Oldboy
The Godfather: Part II (I was a bit disappointed at first, but the end REALLY grew on me!)
Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom

I'm too lazy right now to think of more, but I know there's more.
