That beard looked PARTICULaRLY fake on the Beard-Man. Not natural looking at all. I'm sure Hollywood stylists could do a better job, if they needed. It didn't even match the head hair. What was the point of that fakery?
-------------------------------------------- I own you.
It's pretty obvious when you pause it whilst watching it on blu-ray that it is a glue on. It never meets his sideburns convincingly.
Stiller & Co. decided to make all the bad guys in corporate wear beards and I imagine Adam Scott just couldn't grow a convincing enough beard in the amount of time required.
Hence, glued on beard from Halloween USA.
"She filled the blank with a tube of denture cream and a false sense of superiority."
That's not exactly the answer. As I said, Hollywood stylists could do a better job, right? Or Stiller & Co. is particularly poor and saves on everything?
-------------------------------------------- I own you.
Maybe they went with the fake beard look because he was a total dick and they wanted him to look like a fake. I think he pulled it off perfectly. Kind of reminded me of Bill Lumburg in Office Space and gave new understanding as to why a lot of 2nd lieutenants got shot in the back in Vietnam.
