The only problem I have is with some of these people who would prefer a completely boring, generic, predictable piece of crap like a gazillion other "movies" & then whine if it doesn't go exactly the way they'd like.
And if it's boring, generic & predictable, they whine about that too!
The film was very good but it's hilarious reading some of these stupid posts about the Ghost character's sweaters & looks---I mean, Grow Up!

She was ugly. And she had that kind of codependant nature that makes you want to push her off a bulding. I don't think she ruined the whole movie, and I think her similarities to Ginger was that Ginger controlled Bridgette for the first fifteen years of her life, and now Ghost is controlling her. But the rest of the movie was good. But seriously- could they really not have given her a better wardrobe, or at least not be the closet albino?

It put me off Ginger Snaps completely and ruined the film for me.

And at the end when she captures B, as if she would have the strength and stamina to get B to kill her 'enemy' and then push her back into the basement.
i still liked ghost she added sum fun into the moive cuz u can kind of guess that she was a bit..off but she was funny tho.

And that's the point.
You're watching a werewolf flick, so who's the beast, who's the monster? In normal cases you'd say "Definitely the werewolf". Hm, but GS is a bit different...we don't fear the werewolf, we pity it/her and dislike almost all the other characters.
But they go further: In Unleashed we fear only the "wolfly stranger", he appears to be the adamant monster with B as his unfortunate prey. But in the end you learn that there are creatures who are worse than werewolves, the real monster in this movie is a little girl...I think that's a very nice twist after twist and *so* completely different from those usual all-the-same werewolf-flicks!
I didn't love Ghost, but I loved her being there (but, as already said, I'm not supposed to)
Hey guys, really! How would you make up a Happy End here? Let me think. Ok, got an alternative: Ghost is dead, killed by Brigitte with a "snap" of her fingers and some dramatic "Why?"s. Strike! Then Brigitte is free.
Free to continue fighting against the wolf in her. Forever.
Or free to become a werewolf and feed on people. Forever.
Or - WOW! Three decisions! - to commit suicide, because she doesn't stand it any longer.
Or - Even more convincing! - to find a nice young werewolf who also doesn't like it. They fall in love, they rub shoulders and feed on animals, because they refuse to touch human beings, howling to the moon at night and moaning their lost lives. Forever *sob* Coming soon! C'mon guys! The ending is well thought-out. I think they made up several alternatives for an ending. The version you see in the movie may not be the most satisfying one for many people, but it's definitely not the worst one they could have made up...there can't be a real Happy End for GS.

There where a few hints tough, The fact that the Grandmother seemed terrified of her (look at her eyes each time the girl is near, she's constantly trying to reach the buzzer to ring someone when Ghost is around, that made me distrust her, then when they are in the house, the way she jokes about the burning was suspicious (tough then again humor is often an emotional shield), the fact she used fire against the wolf, the fact she kept gasoline under her bed, I was quite sure she burned her grandmother, but I didn't expect her to lock up Bridget, This movie was a bit strange, nothing happened the way I figured it would be, I expected a rampage at the clinic (in the end the wolf only killed a dog and a girl), more information about he intresting subject of lycantrophy and the cures for it (like in ginger snaps 1 when they constantly look for one), and maybe an actual cure for bridget seeing how she allready went through so much in 2 movies.

shareI hated her guts. I could stand her in the beginning but then she completely ruined the movie for me. The ending was so damn ridiculous, there's no way that would happen. She couldn't have kept Briggitte in there like that and there's no way that she would stay to be a pet for ghost.
Then ofcourse she got my favourite character killed, I know he was an ass but still.
