Dude, did anyone else just totally hate Ghost?

She's an ugly little *beep* not to mention she's *beep* in the head. Ugh, her beady little black eyes with those albino-esque features...gross.

Besides, I thought the ending was ridiculous.

Bang Bang.

Ah Megan Martin achieved what she set out to do, you are not meant to like Ghost. This becomes very apparent early on.

To the person who scored the movie 0 cause they didn't like the character Ghost, maybe stick to Walt Disney next time, or are they also a bit manipulative for ya. I would also check out a film critcism course, you are meant to have feelings about characters in movies, it's a sign of a bad movie when you don't give a crap about any of the characters.

Well done by the actress, she nailed the part, and the movie achieves what it wants. People are talking about it.

9/10 they should make a fourth movie and turn it into a franchise judging by DVD sales going down.

Ghost won't be everyones cup of tea, initialy I wasn't convinced about her role in the movie, but eventually I grew to like her, she had some excellent lines and delivered a near fautless performance.

The screenplay for this sequel is stunning, for a low budget horror movie Ginger Snaps Unleashed is up there with the very best of them.

reply

Got that right!

and she is freakin irritating!!

reply

dude, ghost was so .. ugh! I mean, she was important to the movie and all and she's not supposed to be likable , yadda yadda, but if I knew someone like her I'd probably slap her. The whole too cheerful braceface smile, hair thicker than a shag carpet and the clothes and the way she moved. Everything about her annoyed me.

Man eating orchids forgive no one just yet.

"I love the idea of killer kids, it's cool, but not when they're fugly"
Oh, so beautiful killer kids would be okay then? Ha ha!
The girl who played Ghost did her job, but I don't envy her for it. Ghost seriously p-ed me off. I can't believe that the screenwriters took this remarkable character, B, who we had all grown to love as she grew, and made her the prisoner of this pathetic person. It makes me sick. I only hope Ginger will keep B company and help her a bit!...

I hated her too, especially when she was waiting the werewolf with her shotgun and when a few shadows occured, she shot about three blasts. I was like "You are wasting all the bullets, idiot!"

she was okay right until the shotgun scene.

and those fudging rhymes are A TOTAL PUT-OFF!

irritating as hell

In my opinion she was one of the best characters in the movie, although the end was really kinda irritating. and how old was she supposed to be anyway?

reply

Hated her! Annoying, rat-faced, little psycho! Ginger and Brig had issue but they were not where near as mesed up as that little beast!

reply

I liked her. She was cute and spunky, plus she had that hidden demented evil thing going.

reply

Totally liked her, what is the matter? She get to you? Did she scare you because you could not predict- like in REAL life- what she was going to do next or what her motivations were?

reply

I actually liked her too.

Then again, I like creepy things.

I just wouldn't make her mad, lol.

I hated Ghost- she was annoying and then turned out to be a total bitch!

I hate Barbie, that bitch has everything!

I liked Ghost. I love murderous, screwed up, ugly (although I actually thought she was quite cute- I guess it must be because I think flaws are more visually interesting and engaging than perfection) characters. It was fun trying to think about what her motivations must be, and she kept me guessing right up until the end.

It makes me laugh now, but even though I estimated that her character must be about twelve years old (some people on here seem to think she was older), I didn't bat an eyelid when she hopped behind the steering wheel of the car in the film. It's because the school I attend takes boarders, and some of those boarders come from farming communities. Because they live on farms and have to help take in the harvest, these girls learn to drive a car basically as soon as they're tall enough to see over the steering wheel. So some of the girls at my school, when they start out in Year Eight they've been driving for five years already. It was only when I came on this message board that I remembered that a twelve-year-old who can drive might be considered strange in the Canadian suburbs, where there are no farms. :P

I'm still iffed at the idea that Ghost was able to keep a werewolf as her 'pet.' She's an idiotic, stilted character. So silly and yet such a conniving little prat. The ending was foreshadowed with all her comics and the heroine in the comics commanding hellhounds or whatever but who thought that would make for a *good* ending? I wish B would've torn her to pieces once she had transformed.

Bang Bang.

Ghost was a bitch.

I don't really hate Ghost, I hated that Ghost had a bigger part then Ginger. Which was just stupid.

And then he kissed me! It was perfect...but I think he broke my nose.

reply

If I was under 18 she would have been a heart throb. She reminds me alot like an old GF.Since I'm older,I wish my kid was that cool.

reply

She is not suppose to be liked.
The ending is a twist ending, a surprise ending. We assume this character, "Ghost" is a helpless brat but it turns out that she is the most evil, conniving character in the movie.

This is typical of horror movies. At the ending, just when you think the menace has been resolved, suddenly more zombies come out or it turns out that the main villain isn't dead after all, etc.
