'The Most Boring, Tedious, Solemn, Self-Important Film Ever Made'

Okay I understand not liking the film though I think it has some merit. It drags at times and the Jolie character is hard to take.

But saying it is "the most....." anything, just reveals an incredible lack of experience and judgment in film watching. My god, what COULD BE the MOST boring film--certainly not this one! But saying it is brilliant is almost as bad.

There are just too many candidates far worse than this one.

I try to always finish a book and watch a movie through to the end. There is one book I could not finish and now two movies because more than an hour into The Good Shepherd I was just too tired of concentrating so hard and rewinding to make sure I understood a scene. SO SLOW.

The people involved in this film are a list of some of the best and brightest in film, yet I would rather do laundry than sit through the rest of this movie.

Yeah, very damn boring. And I love history and it was a very interesting subject but damn they somehow made it so damn boring. There were some ok parts but overall did I mention it was so damn...

I should have just watched a doco, not that I wanted a history lesson per se.
