I agree with the OP here. I don't know about "the most", but I'll agree with the four adjectives in the subject line.

I asked the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I'd agree. I'd rather have my teeth drilled for cavities than sit through this mess again.

This film is almost flawless in the way it portrays Wilson's rise up through the CIA. The whole point of the film is the way in which it depicts a pretty sterile individual trying to hold onto his mind while dealing with duplicity and betrayal all around him. It takes many years to reveal that some of his friends and colleagues are betaying him and their country. That takes time to explain and it requires you to WATCH AND LISTEN to every scene with the utmost care.

If you didn't then you probably will find it boring.

You are so right ! I thought at first that the movie was very long, but I think it was necessary. I actually didn't want the movie to end. I loved Matt Damon's character, so complex and willing to do well for his country and his family. Problem is, at the end, he betrays his own son. How can he live with that fact ? I dunno. Boy was that a beautiful movie...

It was quite a good film I thought. Although I spent the first 2 hours waiting for Pesci to show and then when he did he was only in it for a couple of minutes. That pissed me off.

I'm afraid I'll always just find it dull. It dealt with seriously important issues but other films have done this subject much better.

I watched it in Cinema and I had really troubles not to fall asleep. The cast is great but what is the message of this movie: The CIA is just a bunch of boring people? The Movie is certainly too long. Maybe De Niro should have done two shorter Movies insteat of one overlong. At least I would expect some thriller aspects but there was nothing. The best of this Movie is a Poster about I own. Even the Title is boring, maybe Sleeping Pill would be better. Sorry but I have to agree with the OP but I don't think that it is the most ... .

agree, boring as hell, had to stop it 3/4 of the way thru cos i got so bored, finished it like 1 week later when i had nuthing better to do.

Great movie, exelent acting, exelent directing, exelent lightning, exelent shots, exelent dialogue... but not for every one

Maybe deniro fans got confused, they thought:
Deniro + Pesci + CIA = Wise guys talk + Lots of deaths + Overacted cheesy faces

Trying watching this movie twice, both times couldn't do it. I usually enjoy these types of movies as well.
