Seriously. Michael Pitt isn't playing Matthew, he's playing Leonardo DiCaprio playing Matthew.

This movie would be half-way decent if they just got the real guy to play the part.

Michael Pitt almost ruined this film for me. I find him creepy looking - perfect for Funny Games, by the way. But sexy, knowlegable, NO.

Leo would never show his dragon on the screen. He's not Kate Winslet, and this isnt Titanic.

1) You can call it whatever you want, but it is still and always be just a penis.

2) Leonardo DiCaprio showed his penis years ago onscreen in Total Eclipse, so umm what are you talking about?

I love them both..I love Michael Pitt in this movie and in Bully...And I love Di Caprio in Titanic, The Beach, The departed etc...

Michael Pitt was perfect as Matthew. I am sure he was chosen for his angelic looks and ability to convey sincerity and purity, in contrast to the dark looks and twisted characters of Isabelle and Théo. The innocent American versus the decadent Europeans, Henry James redux.
