How realistic is Rory's death?

I have a question about Rory Peter's (Jonathan Cherry) death scene in the movie, that I've been wondering about for sometime.

How realistic would it be for a flying barbed wire to be able to cut that deep through a person to kill them in that manner? (I mean especially since in Rory's case it looks like it cuts through a lot of bone, muscle and other matter)

This is a great way to teach teens not to do drugs. Drugs make your bones turn into play-doh and your muscles/internal organs into mashed potatoes

Quality education, right here!

Its LeviOsa, not levioSA!

There have been cases of motorcycle riders being decapitated by a barbed wire fence - www.thechronicle.com.au/news/motorcyclist-dies-farm-crash/179409/
But it is different in the case of Rory as they hit the stationary wire fence with force not the other way around.

I don't think he would be sliced perfectly like that. Honestly i think everything leading up to Rory's death was ridiculous. That news van would not blow up like that. Plus the firefighters would have done better to get Kat out of that car and got rid of that pipe that impaled her
