New Jack City. Paid in Full was good, but NJC was just better in some aspects.

sharePaid in Full easily, New Jack Cit is corny as f#ck, Ice T's whole character was sh!t, Paid in Full seemed more real since it showed the come up where as in NJC they were already bosses at the start of the movie.

New Jack City. Yeah it's a bit corny at times and might look dated today, but still a classic of the genre.
Paid in Full is always a fun flick to watch and really one of the few good hood movies of the 2000s, but then again looking at the competition, that's not saying much is it. For some reason they don't make'em as good as back in the 90s anymore

Watching this now. Too many scenes where nothing is happening and dialogue that doesn't move the story. This is more authentic though, more believable. NJC had action film ambitions.
