Hey Sally! Since you seem to be an expert on this movie, I think you can help me. There's an area of the human body, where your neck meets the top of your chest. The little hole/dip where a choker/necklace might hang on a woman's neck. I need to know the name of that spot. I think there's a scene in the movie Serendipity where John Cusack tells Kate Beckinsale what that's called. Am I correct?? I think it's this movie, not sure and I don't have a copy to check. Do you know??? Thank you, Brande

I adore this film and the scene where Cusack opens up his fiance's present to be Love in the Time of Cholera is my all-time favorite scene...the look on his face is priceless.

I dont think that anything is BAD about the movie. It is cute and adorable but it is like any other romantic comedy movie! I mean it is predictable. The cast is wonderful so that is probably one of the only reasons why i like this movie so much! I am just a big romantic/ comedy movie type of person. LOL

Guy who plays Dean is Jeremy Piven. If you like him in this.... you might like him in another movie called "Just Write". It's another cute & quirky love story.

I LOVED this film ...

In fact, I've compiled my own Serendipity soundtrack with the songs from the film (on the soundtrack and those not included on the soundtrack) and audio clips of dialogue ... it's sooooooo much fun.

I did the same with Love Actually, When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle ... and that's only the beginning.

I know, I'm a geek. haha.

I really like this movie. It may not be the greatest film ever made, but it's a damn good one.

Yeah, I have to agree that this film is one of my favorites, and definitely my favorite of its category. John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale were the perfect couple in this movie! They played their parts extremely well. Usually I'm not a huge fan of romantic comedies, but this is the one that stuck with me. When I saw it I absolutely had to buy it! I'm a fan of the concept of finding a soulmate, it's really a comforting, warm, fuzzy notion. =)

I have to join in and say how much I love this movie!

Like many of you, I've seen it a great number of times, and it never gets old. I'm a huge Cusack/Piven fan, and the story and characters were all great. It was a very nicely balanced and talented cast, and the music was brilliant!

Many people have complained to me that it was predictable. I agreee that it is...but, so what? I know my first time watching it, I was waiting every second for the $5 bill and the book to make their way to them, and it was awesome (watching Jonathan open Halley's gift still gives me goosebumps).
