I Sympathise with Lars Von Trier.
I have found many fans are confused (many happily enjoy the challenge) about Memento and Donnie Darko.
I highly doubt the director/remaking crew could understand it enough to make a healthy repeat.
You can't replace guy Pierce and Teddy or Jake Gyllenhall. Classic. Superb.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's only 15 years old. Remade for a new generation? It's perfect as it is. Why, so they can show him using his cellphone taking selfies instead of a camera?
I have never seen a remake of a film that was as good as the original, or better. Christopher Nolan has to be cringing at this very moment.
