I feel as though it has stood the test of time as one of the great comedy/horror spoofs.

I just watched it, it's a fun movie. I don't think it gets enough credit for having a genuinely surprising revelation at the end, when Doofy is revealed to be the killer (and surprisingly hot).

shareYeah it just came at the right time. No other spoof from the 00s can compare to this. Scary Move 2 was funny but the 1st one was just hilarious. I was trying to watch Scream 2 and I couldn't help but think of Scary Movie while watching Scream.

shareback in 2000 i was somewhat shocked about sex scenes, for hollywood it was quite explicit and not usual for kids films.
watching it again, i focus more on comedy and this is funny movie.
