Actually pretty thankful the Pilot was rejected.

I mean... after what happened with Twin Peaks I don't doubt the show eventually would have been destroyed by the network executives. By season 3 they'd have forced him to reveal what happened to Rita and killed the show.

And there's no guarantee we'd have gotten a revival 25 years later. So thank you idiots at ABC for passing and not destroying this. 😪

Still, I'd love to visit a parallel universe to take a peak at a season of this show.

But I'd return to this universe when finished, because under no circumstance would I want to be without this standalone film.

Or it might have ended up on the short list of all time greatest TV shows, surpassing Twin Peaks and whatever else you want to name.
