This is potentially the most baffling book adaptation that somehow makes it necessary to experience both. Lights plan doesn't make any sense. This movie is oddly sexist and anti male Why did they even release this? I'd feel so embarrassed. Nolan doesn't have an argument against Joker's Nihilism. It makes this film frustrating to watch. What the hell were the Rice Crispy treats they were eating? I don't understand the hate This movie is literally the only good thing Kevin James has ever done Ok when exactly is this coming to HBO Max? Why did Wendy and Danny even need to be at the hotel with Jack? View all posts >

It's supposed to resemble a video tape the cops would find in a killers bedroom. You can't really make a strict 3 act story with that. It's supposed to feel disjointed. Did some loser poggerz Twitch streamer talk about this movie or something? It's an interesting format and creatively enough done. It's like Man Bites Dog done in a more sleazy way. Doesn't seem like it cost that much to make but they made it super memorable. It wanted to be disgusting and they succeed. It's not the same. Rorschach's death is seen by Nite Owl just so he can run back inside and scream at Ozzy "You are a bad guy!!!" That isn't in the book. Rorashch just dies with nobody watching. The point of the book is that Ozzy and Rorashch both have different perspectives on good. Rorashch believes in not comprising his principles even to death. Ozzy believes lying and manipulation is necessary to establish peace. The movie basically just comes out and says Ozzy was evil. Idk. I got bored 2 months back and watched all the Batman movie's. And honestly this is the only one I could barely follow. The plot just goes everywhere and it feels like a jumbled mess. All Light realistically had to do was have Mikami bring the fake note book on purpose. Then have him write everyone's names down and send a picture to Lights email. Near realizes he has nothing on Light and lets him go. Light goes to the bathroom and writes everyone's name down. Light wins Why do you want to know this? I'm not saying Joker was right. But there's ways to argue against him without just resorting to "and then despite everything neither boat explodes and everything works out for no reason" They were executives in the 1960s. They probably were all white. That isn't controversial. It's just accurate It's HBO Max or Criterion channel The rest have garbage. Max and Criterion consistently have great movie selections Nolan is an overrated shit director people only like because of Dark Knight which is only good because of Heath Ledger Oppenheimer if I had to guess has a soundtrack that bleeds over all the dialogue, the females are written terribly, it probably has a scene of someone giving a speech, it probably acts more important and pretentious then it actually is, there's probably the BRAAAM from Inception at some point View all replies >
