Which streaming channel in consistently the best?
I've had them all. I like netflix for new stuff, Hulu for all the tv series.

shareCriterion Channel is the best.
shareAs I only watch movies, never TV shows, MAX.com is all I like. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and especially Apple all lack the quality and variety I demand. You'll note less amount of hits on those others, but usually more fake garbage filler type movies that no one has ever heard of, are pretty bad, but exist as "Content amount bragging"... quantity over quality.
my two cents
It's HBO Max or Criterion channel
The rest have garbage. Max and Criterion consistently have great movie selections
Netflix - Jack of all trades, master of none. Has the most content, but also the most failures. Is however the go-to place for international content, especially Korean dramas - although Disney is trying to get on that now.
Disney - Capeshit and Star Wars. And kids TV shows. That's mostly it. If you include Hulu in this then it gets a bit more diverse.
AMC+ - The Walking Dead Land. Does other things but mostly not.
HBO/Max - The primary 'prestige' channel and primary source for MA and gritty content. Fallen on hard times of late, although still holds that reputation. Max originals are a bit cancel-happy though.
Amazon - Struggling to find an identity. Clearly favours very big budget shows (Wheel of Time, Rings of Power, Fallout) with a mixture of success.
Apple TV - The artsy version version of HBO. Clearly trying to lock down sci-fi and mystery boxes (For All Mankind, Severance, Silo, Dark Matter). More forgiving for renewals than most of the others. Smallest library, but arguably highest quality.
Paramount+ - 1923 cinematic universe and Star Trek. And Halo.
Peacock - Pretty awful really.
Criterion.

The three services I use the most are: Mubi, Tubi and Criterion Channel.
