A 7.7 still too low!

Yeah, it's clearly too low considering much weaker movies get into the 8.x/10 range around here. this should be low 8's minimum for the average.

bottom line... Training Day (2001) should be in IMDb's Top 250 at the very least as it's better than a very large percentage of those movies. i gave it a 10/10 and that's a rating i fairly rarely hand out(see below).

Training Day is easily Denzel's best movie/performance.

p.s. for measure only 21 movies managed to get a 10/10 rating from me out of the 1,850+ total movies i have seen. i just finished re-watching Training Day just now (July 26th 2015) and it's still top notch.

It deserves 8.3-8.4. I'm goin 9/10 myself. Powerhouse duel performances - i'm bordeline 10/10.

I think it's about right (7.7 right now). To me, that's a pretty high rating, and I'm glad to see a good film like this getting it.
