Reese Witherspoon to Star in and Produce ‘Election’ Sequel ‘Tracy Flick Can’t Win’

I just learned about this and bought the eBook just now

It looks to be VERY different from the movie, though, matching tone with the novel (naturally, since it's the same author)

For anyone who hasn't read it, the novel is slightly more nuanced and the characters have more depth. It was hardly satirical at all; more like a drama. Patrick Wilson would've been a better choice than Matthew Broderick, had the movie followed the novel more closely.

Still, with Payne writing and directing, it's bound to be worth watching at the very least

Hopefully Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton will have a small part!
