What the hell is wrong with you all?

Just because someone cheats on you doesn't mean you have the right to kill them. Killing someone for their money is also wrong.

What pisses me off is that if the movie was about a woman killing a man who cheats all of you would STILL be talking about what a b!tch she must have been to "make" him cheat.

Every woman is someone's sister, daughter or mother. Hopefully no woman close to you gets killed for making a mistake. Douches.

Cheating is wrong but killing is worse. I don't really think its that disturbing. I doubt the men on here would kill someone for cheating. They are probably just venting anger and frustrating from women who has treated them bad. I think that's the movie intention isn't it? For people to want him to get away with it.

Because men are very threatened by a women cheating. One because they think she must be in love and second because for biological reasons, the male of the species can't waste his time nurturing someone else's gene (i.e. the progeny of her fooling around). Therefore, men are very threatened by a woman cheating and will spew vitriol at even fictional characters that have nothing to do with their own lives.

Also, women are so much better at cheating than men are.

As my momma used to say, I *know* my daughters' children are my grandchildren. I don't know who those kids are by my sons.

There is nothing with the men (or women, since I don't how can you tell an avatar's sex...) on this board. It's called sympathizing.
Gwyneth's character is bitchy and insufferable, and some people side with the murderer. It's not because he's a man, it's because she isn't really likeable...

What's wrong with them? They are an anonymous message board so they can get away with being cowardly little pricks here. I agree, it's way over the top disturbing.

It all comes down to poor screenwriting. You need a good guy and a bad guy in almost any story to make it work. The writer here thought of Gwyneth as a good guy and assumed all of us, women and men, would feel for her. But it backfired.
You cannot have your hero be an unfaithful liar with a $100 trust fund.

The writer should have made Viggo TRYING to get her into bed, but she resists him. Same exact plot follows, except with that simple change, she is no longer a lying whore, and we all root for her.
