Totally different situations, in that case there wasn't much he could have done and the entire Secret Service hadn't been wiped out. Obama would have thrown Michelle, Sasha and Malia out of the way so he could escape in the pod and his family would have left them behind.
Also it's so pathetically ironic that you would attack the President for taking your sides terrorism seriously.
