virginity

I remember when i first saw this movie. I was about five or six. I feel in love with it (not knowing what much of it meant.) I wanted the older sisters entire wardrobe. But the only puzzling thing was virginity. I had no idea what they were talking about. The line went something like, "You steal my boobs, my boyfriend, and what next my VIRGINITY?"

my mom was asleep on the couch so i went and woke her up asking. "What is virginity?" she said something about marrige which made no sense to me so I went on a couple more years knowing nothing about the subject. This movie made much of my childhood.

one question: Was there a scene when one of the sisters wears a dominatrices outfit?

I grew up only hearing it when people talked of the Virgin Mary and everyone talked about that she was pure. Because of this, I always thought a virgin was someone saint-like and holy. So, in third grade when this one girl asked me if I was a virgin, I said 'no' (because I was anything but saint-like) and a bunch of kids laughed and it was really awkward...

Wasn't sure why they were laughing until the following year when Mom finally gave me The Talk. Oops...

So, anyway, by the time I saw this movie I knew what it meant. LOL

I had no idea what virginity meant back then, it kind of went over my head. Disney used to edit out certain scenes as well, now they don't even play it! Luckily I have the DVD!

You jump, I jump remember? I can't turn away without knowing you'll be alright

Yeah Disney has gotten too G-rated now. They will never mention virginity on a Disney show or movie now. Heck they rarely even kiss. And the hot tub scene where the girl and her friend is asking "Do you think they did it?" wouldn't have happened now either. At least Nick isn't afraid to mention boobs or show a kiss or two.

"That was the sickest thing I've seen on TV, and I watch Dance Moms"

Hocus Pocus also has a whole scene where the cop is making fun of Max for being a virgin. Now when they show that movie on tv, they cut out that scene. Which I think is really stupid because it's not like the rating has changed.
