I have read quite a lot of reviews and some of them say that they find this movie to be "misogynistic".
Main question, is the fact that Kari Wuhrer plays a villainous character, and even gets confronted and almost killed by that gangster Richard Ginnelli, at least ONE of them? And what do you think?
Or has it almost got nothing to do with this and it is considered as that for mostly other reasons. (NOTE - Despite the fact that these reviews are written by intelligent adults, they often don't reveal why they state this. Yet they really DO seem to BELIEVE it honestly and wholeheartedly. No joke and no benefit of any doubt. Ooh.)
I'm having a hard time deciphering what you're talking about. I don't think her role in this movie is that complicated; she's a catalyst for the main character being thrust into a weird situation.

Also, why didn't she use any of her magical skills when either Richie was attacking them with an automatic rifle or when he was personally confronting her, like she proved for instance she could hear well from many meters away earlier on?
