Favourite line?

I'd like to know what everyone's favourite line from the movie would be.

Mine is when Kevin was referring to Carman Swisher, "Those midgets seem to get a real kick out of her."

Later,Pooh

Even though I own the movie, I had forgotten it had so many great lines until I read through this thread.

For best lines, I would go with the best scene- the ice rink.

I love it when Marty is telling Willie about how she broke up with her "boyfriend." Willie asks her what she has going on now, and she skates back to him and says, "You... me and you." She is so excited and sure of herself when she says it, nearly irresistible.

So much so that Willie goes, "Really?" and the look on his face is priceless. You can see that he is seriously considering it, delighted by the idea, and even with the age difference, you can understand why.

On the other hand, if personal use is the best form of flattery, then I have to admit that there is one line from the movie that I do use once in a while. That is the "don't let the women behind the curtain" speech by Rapaport. I use some version of that all the time, chastising men about telling women too much.

My favorite scene is also the ice skating scene. The chemistry between Timothy Hutton and Natalie Portman is priceless. My favorite line? When Hutton tells Portman "I can't be a Pooh".

"Less intense and emotionally possessed than normal, but no less effective because of its pointless colouration."

I'm a big time early-era Taking Back Sunday; so I actually discovered the film due to the snippet played on one of their songs.

For me it's;

A beautiful girl can make you dizzy, like you've been drinking Jack and Coke all morning. She can make you feel high full of the single greatest commodity known to man - promise. Promise of a better day. Promise of a greater hope. Promise of a new tomorrow. This particular aura can be found in the gait of a beautiful girl. In her smile, in her soul, the way she makes every rotten little thing about life seem like it's going to be okay.
