Favourite line?

I'd like to know what everyone's favourite line from the movie would be.

Mine is when Kevin was referring to Carman Swisher, "Those midgets seem to get a real kick out of her."

Later,Pooh

Paul: Did you hear that Andera went back to Chicago? She was supposed to stay through the reunion. She just up and left. What did you say to her in that ice shack, Will?
Willie Conway: I told you, we just talked.
Paul: You told her things, didn't you?
Willie Conway: What things?
Paul: You let her behind the curtain, didn't you?
Willie Conway: Maybe she missed her boyfriend.
Paul: You let her behind the curtain, I know you did. You never let them behind the curtain Will. You never let them see the little old man behind the curtain working the levers of the great and powerful OZ. They are all sisters Willie... they aren't allowed back there... they mustn't see.
Willie Conway: Tell me the truth. You stay up nights thinking about this *beep*
Paul: You say it like it's a bad thing.

i love this movie.

would rather meet a beautiful girl tho.

reply

Willie Conway: I had to ask, because to be honest with you, I don't find you the least bit attractive. Now do you want to go home with me?
Andera: No.
Willie Conway: Ah well, gotta try every angle.

Paul: See these guys? Pete, Rizzo and Sammy B? They work all day and drink all night for 40 *beep* years. Two weeks out of the year, they take a vacation and go to the Cape. What do they do? They drink all day, they drink all night. If we don't step it up, we're gonna wind up just like them.
Kev: Cool.

Willie Conway: I was jealous of a little kid on a bike, because he gets to be her age, and I'm this vile old man. Like that guy, what's-his-name...
Michael 'Mo' Morris: Roman Polanski?
(but it really needs to be followed up by the "fat, greasy, fat, Nabakov character" bit, but I don't remember exactly how it goes)

Paul: Come back and see us sometime. Nothing ever changes in the ridge but the seasons.

(this one is technically my favorite because I come from a craptastic small town myself, so i frequently use this line, without "the ridge", whenever people move away.

they used this quote from beautiful girls..

"A beautiful girl can make you dizzy,
Like you've been drinking jack and coke all morning.
She can make you feel high,
Full of the single greatest commodity known to man:
Promise. promise of a better day,
promise of a greater hope,
promise of a new tommorow.
This particular aura,
can be found in the gait of a beautiful girl.
In her smile, and in her soul.
In the way she makes every rotten little thing about life
seem like it's gonna be ok."

It was used as an intro of an early version of "Greatest Romances of the 20th Century" by the original formation of "Taking Back Sunday"

still one of my favorite tracks.

" I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code. "

How many pages did I have to read until I finally saw this, my favorite line?

Love it!

"Blow it ouchyer ear, Reiger..!" Louie De Palma

"Coffee is for closers." Blake

reply

Some of my favorites:
"Good night, sweet girl."
"You really are flavored today."
"Does that make it too late or too early?"
"I've been drunk for two weeks."
"We can walk through this life together."
"Later, Pooh."

reply

"She looks like one of those kids Sally Struthers feeds paste to." And the "Sweet Caroline" scene is priceless!

reply

"You don't tape Rich Man Poor Man, you watch it on tv, with the commercials, just like everyone else!"

There are so many great lines but one of my personal favorites is Willie with Uma's character when he's says he's envious of all the things her boyfriend gets to do with her and she replies that someone is thinking the same about his girlfriend

reply

"So what about YOU Jerry Lee Lewis?!?!?"

"AW *beep* MOE!"

Hutton's delivery of that one was priceless.

The other one is the four of them at the Johnson Inn and they all start cussing each other out one word at a time. This scene was great because it represented four old friends falling back into their old routines as if no time had really gone by.

Plus the fact they had a fight but deep down they still really care about each other...

I love that dialogue also, because it makes absolutely NO sense!! And then Paul replies "That's a good point". AWESOME!!
